What’s a Spending Level?

A Spending Level is a goal you set for yourself. It’s the most money a month you want to spend for that category.
In Spruce, you can create a Spending Level for each transaction category such as Pets or Food & Dining. Your Spending Levels are in your control—you can choose to set up to 19 Spending Levels or none at all. We know things happen that may cause you to go over your Spending Level. No worries—there are no penalties for going over a Spending Level, and we won’t deny transactions.
