Why was my check not accepted?

Unfortunately, we are not able to accept all checks submitted for deposit through the Spruce mobile app. If your check was not accepted, it could be for a variety of reasons, including (but not limited to): the check has already been deposited elsewhere, we believe the check may not be honored, or the item did not otherwise meet eligibility criteria for check deposits.

Additional information on check deposit eligibility criteria may be found below as well as in Section 3.7 of the Spruce Online and Mobile Services Agreement.
