What happens if the check I deposited is returned?

There are some circumstances where a check could be returned, such as insufficient funds. If a check you previously deposited is returned from the issuing bank, we’ll send an email letting you know of the return and the amount of that check will be withdrawn from your Spruce Spending Account.
