Why am I getting this error message: “It looks like we can’t complete that request”?

If you are trying to send a payment or request and get this error message, it could mean: 

  1. There was an interruption in your connection  
  1. We couldn’t verify the First and Last Initials of the Spruce account holder  
  1. We were unable to locate that Spruce account 
  1. Pay/request is currently unavailable 

Tip: Make sure your friend has already joined Spruce and opted in to Pay/request before trying to send them a payment or request.
