How do I send a payment or request?

After you’ve opted in and met the eligibility requirements: 

  1. Open pay/request from the Move Money menu 
  1. Use the search bar to find the Spruce user you want to move money with. If you’ve allowed access to your device contacts, you can search for them by name. Otherwise, you’ll need to enter the phone number or email address associated with their Spruce account.  
  1. Verify your recipient by entering their First and Last Initials 
  1. Enter the dollar amount and a message for the transfer 
  1. Select “Pay” or “Request” 
  1. Review the details to ensure the amount and recipient are correct, then click “Confirm”
